Buffy's Story...
Buffy is a 12 week old kitten who'd love to have a permanent home soon. He enjoys playing with his siblings, hanging out on the cat tree and loving on his human foster family members. He is such a cutie and is mostly gray/striped/white. Won't you let Buffy steal YOUR heart?

For Siamese and Siamese-related breeds (e.g., Tonkinese, Snowshoes, Colorpoints, Birmans, Himalayans, Bengals, etc.) a donation of $125 is requested to help continue the rescue effort. For all others, we ask $100. Kittens under the age of 12 weeks are not usually adopted out by themselves; although exceptions can be made depending on the kitten. All cats and kittens are fully vaccinated for FVRCP, FeLV, and rabies; all are (or will be) altered and microchipped at our expense. All come with a 2-week health guarantee, during which time any illness or parasite problem that may be incubating will be handled by Blue's Mews through their cooperating veterinarians. Cats and kittens have a 2-week "return for money back" warranty. After 2 weeks, we will still take them back, but will gratefully accept your donation to help other cats and kittens. A selection of our kittens and cats may be seen every weekend at Pet Supplies Plus in Beavercreek and Kettering from 1 to 6 on Saturdays and 1 to 5 on Sundays. For more information, please call or, preferably, text, 937-271-1411 or email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buffy, a Fairborn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Fairborn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Fairborn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairborn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairborn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairborn paves the way for another one to be saved.
