Darling Maisie is a friendly, outgoing and very loving girl! Prior to her arrival in Wisconsin, she lived with a foster family with several other dogs, visited the dog park regularly and enjoyed her daily walks. She is happy-go-lucky and playful with other dogs and has a medium activity level. Very gentle when playing with toys or taking snacks. She likes dog beds and sleeping next to her people. She crates well and has excellent house manners. She loves to try and curl up in your lap or lay beside you.. Maisie is about 40 pounds, HW negative, and UTD on vaccines.
Maisie is currently living the dream in her Wisconsin foster where she resides with 8 dogs of various sizes. She loves to run and play with them outdoors...and could spend hours laying in the sun!
Our adoption process works a bit different than other shelters and rescues! Paddy's Paws serves as a coordinator for Houston rescues. We send out the applications, arrange homevisits and secure back up fosters for each of the dogs that will be transported here. Like most foster-based organizations, we do not have a facility and set up all appointments on an individual basis. Prior to any meet and greets, we require an approved application so we will need to go through all the steps before having you meet any of the available dogs here in Wisconsin.

Our application requires a homevisit and meet and greet. Adoption fee is $250.

NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
