Ranger's Story...
This saint mix we named Ranger wandered onto a camp property at 1100 Twin Lake Road Stroudsburg, PA 18360. He has recently been neutered and has no chip. Does anyone want to adopt this cutey pie. We have no idea about cats, but he is really good with dogs and very people friendly. Please call Mark or Kara at 570-620-2267

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ranger, a Pittsburgh St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with St. Bernard/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
