Duke's Story...
Oh do we have a sweetie waiting to meet you! Duke is a 1 year old Beagle Mix who loves people and dogs. This handsome guy catches the attention of everyone who walks into ITV. We found him scared and in danger in our local Animal Control, so of course, we saved him! Duke is a higher energy dog so he is searching for an active family. He loves to play and loves to go on walks. He is working on not pulling since he gets so excited to be out on walks. Duke is a small guy weighing only 23 pounds. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. Duke deserves a happily ever after with a committed family who will appreciate his happy personality. He works hard to keep his kennel clean and takes direction from a strong pack leader. Duke needs a forever family, and if you think he is perfect for you, submit an online adoption application at ITVRescue.org. Duke is waiting to take a nice walk with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Evansville Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
