TRINA's Story...
TRINA!! TRINA is a 1 1/2 to 2 year old Border Collie mix. We rescued TRINA from a neighboring high kill shelter. She loves other dogs and would do well with a best friend. She loves everyone and is so smart! All Border Collies are!

TRINA loves her belly rubbed and will drop down just so you will rub her belly! She is so funny and is a perfect definition of an all around family dog. She will be your best friend forever! She would love to have long walks and would love to watch TV with you at night.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TRINA, a Owenboro Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Owenboro, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Owenboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owenboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owenboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owenboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
