Princess's Story...
Frosty (Age 14) and Princess (Age 12 / Almost 13) Need a Long Term foster or adopter for 2 Beautiful Champion Show Dogs! They have lived together their entire lives and need to be kept together. Their elderly owner is ill and has to be moved to assisted senior living and is not allowed to take them with her.
Both are senior dogs but are VERY HEALTHY! The Male Frosty is 13 & the Female Princess is 12. Frosty has lost some of his teeth over the years and has some diminished eye site but is otherwise very healthy. Princess is healthy as well. Only issues they have ever had are some ear infections (as most dogs get).
We are looking for someone that lives in Northern or Central NJ to foster or adopt them and would be willing to allow their current owner to see them once in a while. She is heartbroken that her illness is making her dogs homeless but she doesn't have any choice.
Free Grooming, once a month for life for the 2 of them will be provided at a doggie spa in Morris County for the person that adopts or fosters them.
Please open your home and heart to these 2 wonderful dogs that have been loved and cared for their entire lives and deserve to be loved the same way for the rest of their golden years. If you are interested in fostering or adopting them please fill out an application at this link and put Senior Pair or Frosty & Princess as the name of the dog in the application:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a East Hanover Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in East Hanover, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in East Hanover.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hanover already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hanover breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hanover paves the way for another one to be saved.
