Looking for a great big dog? It will be David! David is a sweet, gentle, and well-behaved boy. He is doing very well in his foster home since the first day he arrives. David is great with people and is very polite when meeting strangers. He is also good with young children and is very gentle with the foster family’s son who is 8 years old. David loves all dogs and is great with both big and small dogs. David rides very well in the car and enjoys his daily walks and going to the park. David will make a great family dog as he is a good boy.

Poor David was found abandoned in a remote mountain where there are no food and shelter. He must have starved for a long time and can barely stand on his four feet. He laid almost dead on the road. A kind lady who owns a vacation home nearby was looking for her lost dog and ran into him. She didn’t have the heart to leave him to die on the street. She quickly brought him home and took him to the vet for a complete checkup. Luckily he is one healthy boy.

The kind lady couldn’t afford to keep him as she many senior dogs to care for. She contact several rescue groups and no one was willing to help him as they are all full and he is a black dog. Through the vet’s referral, she found David’s now foster mom. David’s foster mom is an experienced dog rescuer and found over hundreds of dogs loving home. She knew it was urgent to take him home and promised him a good life!

David had his vaccinations, rabies shot, neutered and microchip. All he needs is for a family to open their hearts to him and give him a new life! Please give David a chance to live.
