My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Derek was rescued from Animal Control. He had been turned in with a horrible neck wound. It was so bad, his jugular was exposed. Our vet patched him up and continued to follow his healing for three long months. He had to wear a body bandage for several weeks and a cone of shame for even longer.

He is so happy to be all better now! He lives at Planned PETHood and plays well with other cats. He would rather wrap lovingly around your legs then be held in your arms (he would rather play instead).

Please consider giving Derek a loving home. He has had a traumatic recovery and deserves a wonderful furever home. A cat tree would be great too!
