Star's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Star's Story...
Star was found by a kind man one morning tied to a post in a completely empty parking lot. He was not allowed to have dogs in his apartment, so he slept in the car with her for a few days. One of our volunteers just happened to strike up a conversation with him and found out that this little girl was in need of a new home. Star is about 9 months old and weighs 12 pounds at the most. She is healthy and sweet and just wants to be right next to someone. She loves everyone!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Star, a El Segundo Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
