Crunch's Story...
When you find a box in a parking lot on a hot summer day your first hope is - it's filled with cash! Among the many things that might await inside, you're probably not hoping for 4 Chi-weenie puppies. But that's what we found. Lucky us. Well, lucky puppies, actually. People never cease to amaze us but that's certainly no way to re-home your tiny fur-babies!

So, introducing Crunch and his 3 siblings. These little nuggets are healthy Chihuahua/Dachshund/Terrier mixes. We guesstimate they were born mid-to-late May. They have lots of energy and are well-adjusted. Due to their size, a home without small children would be most suitable for them.

Email or call 770-971-0100 for more info. Or fill out an adoption application, found at

Adoption fees include spaying/neutering, vaccinations up to date at time of adoption, micro-chipping and one free check-up at Town & Country main vet clinic within 14 days of adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Crunch, a Marietta Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
