Zippi's Story...
Zippi is a Dachshund mix, about 4 months old. It is hard to tell what she is mixed with, if anything. She is an outgoing girl who loves everyone she meets. She's just a little thing with a big heart and a strong wish to settle in with a family who wants to love her forever. She loves kids and we can't tell if she likes cats or tolerates them, but she has no problem with them either way.

If you would like to adopt Zippi, please visit out website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download an application, or email jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application. Adoption fee is $250 and include spay, parasite treatment and prevention and age-appropriate shots. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zippi, a Gallatin Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
