My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name's Adrianne. I'm a miniature dachshund, weighing in at a whopping 11 lbs. I have a few loves in this world: my people who I will follow to the edges of the earth, treats, and SQUEAKY TOYS! Squeakers are my favorite thing in the world. I love getting a new toy I can destroy. My foster mom is still trying to find a toy I can't totally tear up, but I think she has as much fun watching me tear them up as I do doing the work! In my foster home I live with 3 other dogs (both big and small), a cat, and some little humans. I get along well with everyone! I love playing fetch with the kids. They always laugh when they see me carrying the big tennis ball back to them.

My face is a little grey, but I'm still full of spunk! The vet told my foster mom I'm only around 6 years old, which isn't even that old for a little dog like me! I've got a cone on in my photo because I had a little boo-boo on my back that needed to be stitched up, but after that heals I'll be ready to head home with my forever family!
