Sookie's Story...
Sookie is a beautiful beagle girl who can't go with her dad when he moves for work. She is a gorgeous dark chestnut, light chestnut, and white and her coat shines in the light. Her nose and eyes are copper colored, which makes her even more gorgeous. She has been an inside girl, so she is house trained. She is three years old and weighs 24 pounds. She is good with other dogs and likes the family cat. She has a good temperament and loves, loves, loves to play ball. Her dad says that he has played a 'hide and seek' game with her to allow her to use her beagle nose to find something that he has hidden. She loves that game, too. She won't understand having to find a new home, but she will adjust and take her good nature and good looks with her. If you have been looking for a sweet and beautiful beagle, Sookie is your girl. Don't pass her up!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sookie, a Ripley Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
