Kyle's Story...
COURTESY POST: OPERATION FANCY FREE Hi. My name is Kyle and I am 6 1/2 weeks old. I am a male kitten in desperate need of a forever home. My foster family rescued me and my brothers from the weeds around a local business. I am ready to go out into the world and fine my new family to love me forever. I really would rather stay inside. Being outside was scary. I am growing fast and love to play with toys or stretch out on someone's lap. My favorite thing to do is to shut my eyes and purr. I am litter trained and will get my first vaccination next week. I am not looking forward to that, but mom says it has to be done. I only weigh about 2 1/2 pounds, so I am too little to be neutered yet, but I think that has to be done also. Do you have a nice comfy home that I can share with you? I would love to show you how much fun I can be playing, running, climbing, and purring. Please look at my pictures and my brothers' pictures, too. We would love to stay together, bet we understand that probably won't happen. We just want a chance to be safe and loved forever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kyle, a Ripley Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
