Scamp's Story...
A litter of nine puppies was born at the local clinic on February 27, but only eight survived. The momma had been a stray and had gone into a home in the country. The family that had taken in the stray mom wanted to keep her, but they didn't want puppies. ARF agreed to keep momma and puppies until the puppies could eat on their own. The mom is to be returned to the family after she is spayed. There are eight beautiful puppies who need forever homes. In the litter, some are brindle, some cream, some black, but all are adorable. And they have the disposition of the momma dog, which is wonderful. These dogs are very calm but playful. Most of them have curly tails and some have wispy hair like the terrier. Scamp has the longest hair of any of the pups, so he looks a little different in his pretty brindle. He's a fuzzy guy who loves attention! He weighs 5.2 pounds at six weeks old. And look at the curl in that tail! Cute!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scamp, a Ripley Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
