Miracle's Story...
Miracle is just that, for it is a wonder that she survived. She was spotted darting off and onto a busy interstate highway in a neighboring county. The lady who spotted couldn't stop as she went south, for she had an appointment. But the little girl was still darting around as she returned north after her appointment. Miracle was so afraid that once the lady got her home, she ran away again. Miracle was found on a near-by farm taking refuge in a little house placed on the property for the owner's ducks. ARF volunteers met the farm owner at the vet's office to help with Miracle and have her checked. The little girl was terribly matted, and the hair was chopped off to make her comfortable. Later she was groomed; she is much more comfortable now. She has calmed a lot after her terrible experience, and she is a sweet little senior girl, probably at least eight years old. She weighs just under 17 pounds. She is getting much-needed dental work. The vet thinks Miracle was spayed years ago. Miracle needs a soft bed and calm voice and a place to live out her life. Can someone help her?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miracle, a Ripley Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
