My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is beautiful, and he is ready to start his new life. You see, Buddy was an expensive purebred beagle purchased for hunting. Buddy didn't like hunting, though. He wanted to stay where the people were! So he wasn't valued. Buddy is 3 12 years old, and he has spent the last two of those years in a small 2 x 4 foot cage. He was given food and water, but what he wanted most was companionship. Buddy now has the opportunity that he has longed for all this time! He is presently in foster care, and the entire world is new and exciting to him. He is going to have to be trained to house manners, but he is very smart and learns quickly. He wags his tail at every dog he sees and seems to adore children. He may have some guarding of his food, for that was his only pleasure for a long time. That, too, could change in time. Buddy is about 20 pounds, has beautiful brown eyes, and is a friendly guy excited to be out into the world. He needs a family who will understand him, love him, and help him learn what he has missed!April 10, 2024, 11:29 am
