Winston's Story...
Sir Winston!!! This handsome fellow (with a rockin mohawk!) is available for adoption! He is an owner surrender about 3 years old. Neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. He is debarked & had a recent dental cleaning. He prefers to be a spoiled only dog where he can have all the attention but does just fine with other dogs of all sizes as well as just fine with kitties :) He's great with older kids & most people, just a little fearful at first. Total snugglebug once you both fall in love! :)

His adoption fee is $140. Our events are located at Petsmart at Scottsdale Rd & Frank Lloyd Wright. Please fill out an application & then we'll tell you when to come meet him!! :)

Saturdays & Sundays
16257 N. Scottsdale Rd

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Winston, a Phoenix Dachshund/Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Cairn Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Dachshund/Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
