Rocco's Story...
Please visit our main website at for most recent list of available Boxers and to fill out an adoption application. Due to the volume of inquiries our volunteers receive we are unable to reply to inquiries without a completed adoption application.

Rocco is a big rolly-polly love bug. If Boxers could be sumo wrestlers he would be a champion. He loves attention and is good with other dogs, especially females. We found Rocco way up at the Martinez shelter with a case of demodex mange. This very common condition is completely and quickly remedied. He is under treatment and can go home to fill in all his fur. Our team organized a Boxer version of the pony express to get this wonderful boy from up North to BRLA. Rocco is a totally fantastic mellow.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
