Pumpkin's Story...
Pumpkin is a sweet little girl. She is spunky and curious but when having the run of the house, still stays in close proximity to the humans. She really loves people. She loves cuddling and sleeping on us, she is comfortable with kids, dogs and cats. She particularly loves to hold your face in her paws and lick your chin. We also call her our parrot, because she loves to sit on your shoulder. She is very social and has learned to be vocal, like her momma. Pumpkin is a wonderful kitty who would be happy with any kind of family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pumpkin, a Santa Clarita Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Santa Clarita, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Santa Clarita.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Clarita already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Clarita breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Clarita paves the way for another one to be saved.
