Harriett's Story...
Hello! My name is Harriet, but my friends know me by Hatty. I'm a two year old Great Pyrenees/Lab mix who is full of energy and looking an active forever home. I am currently in a foster home until I can find my new place in life. I am a very well behaved girl, I promise! I can sit, stay, shake, and fetch. I'm spayed, up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative, house and kennel trained. My foster parents say I'm very polite, smart, and loving. I get along with dogs, cats, and children. Due to me being a big doggie at 90 pounds, and having a whole lot of energy, small children are hard for me to be around. I love playing and having fun, that sometimes I forget that I am much larger than these babies. I am going to need a family who can give me a lot of attention. Someone who can give me daily walks, play fetch, take me running, or to a doggie park. I do love to go to doggie daycare too. I'm just such a happy girl and love life. If you are interested in meeting me, I would love to meet you. Just contact Caroline at The Rescue Project via email at caroline.rescues@gmail.com

Adoption fee for Hatty is $175 which includes age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay, and heartworm testing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harriett, a Overland Park Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
