Gypsy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Gypsy's Story...
My name is Gypsy. I am a 5 year old female black domestic shorthaired cat. Marcus Kruger the dog and I are looking for new forever homes when our owner moved out of state.

I was already spayed. I have been vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/FELV tested (negative) and microchipped.

I was really scared when I arrived at animal control. I am now in my foster home, and I am starting to relax and feel safe. I enjoy the comfort of being petted and talked to. I can be adopted into a home with other pets because I lived with a dog and am in a foster home with other cats. I am just looking for a quiet place to call my own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy, a Whiting Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Whiting, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Whiting.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whiting already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whiting breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whiting paves the way for another one to be saved.
