Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Muffin is a 3 year old female pit that was found running the streets of Mt Vernon alone and terrified. One of out volunteers picked her up and brought her straight to us. Muffin had a microchip that traced back to someone who gave her to a friend because she lived in an apartment. That person said she gave to her ex husband to live with his other 3 dogs. They thought Muffin was stolen out of their yard. They never returned for her.
We found Muffin to be a very shy timid girl. She is great with women but is very scared of men. We aren't sure what she went through, but this little girl completely blossomed into a playful nut when she got some play dates! Muffin is one of our top stars in the play yard. She loves to run around with the other dogs and lay in the pool. She has become better with men after she trusts them and is great with our 2 men volunteers. She is still a bit shy but has come such a long way! If you have time, patience and another dog to show her the way, Muffin is the dog for you! Can someone give this beautiful girl a home?
