Baby Doll!!'s Story...
Beautiful and refined is the best way to describe this living doll. She got so lucky, Gerty was in a very high Kill shelter in Hillsborough County. We got an email from the Shelter asking to take this little girl who was not moving anymore and crying in a corner of the kennel. She had only one day only to live! We received a call that day from a very nice lady who wanted to foster older dogs and make a difference, just the right call at the right time. So we decided to take this little girl and give her some peace for her senior years. At ten, she is entering her twilight years but is such a joy to have around and still has lots of love to give. Like all dignified ladies, she takes her time getting to know new people, but is gentle, calm, and very tolerant. Gertrude would love to retire in a loving home that is quiet, relaxed, and maintains a consistent lifestyle. Gerty loves to rest on your lap. So if you are the family that enjoys a relaxing afternoon at home or an intimate evening at the park this sweet girl would make a great addition! Gerty is blind and hard of hearing but that does not stop her from giving all of her love to you. In fact, she is so grateful to be loved that her affection and commitment towards you is unconditional. Please contact Gertrude 's foster mom, Gina at (973) 903-1602 who is located in Tampa Bay area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby Doll!!, a Ft Myers Beach Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Ft Myers Beach, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Ft Myers Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft Myers Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft Myers Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft Myers Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
