Ilana's Story...
Are you looking for a happy cuddly pup to join your family? Look no further! This girl is a doll!

Born mid April, this little girl weighs about 8 pounds. Her momma was a stray who, when it was time to deliver her pups, made a home in a hollow log. Circle of Hope brought the family to safety and kept them warm, dry and fed.

Ilana is almost house trained. She loves to play, and napping on the couch with her favorite person ranks high on her list of favorites. She is so happy and well behaved. She loves people, children, and other dogs! She is just lovely!

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet loving happy and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates, it is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ilana, a Cooperstown Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound for sale in Cooperstown, or seeking a Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound puppy from a breeder in Cooperstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cooperstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cooperstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cooperstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
