Huck's Story...
Do you want a dog that will play in the yard with the kids? Love to run with you? Maybe go hiking and camping? Huck could be your guy. He's 18 months old and loves to chase a ball almost as much as he loves to play in the water! He's great with kids, friendly with cats, and loves other dogs. He's an all around good young guy and would love to tag along with someone who has an active or outdoor lifestyle. He's fostered in north Huntsville, AL and we can arrange for you to meet him very easily. Please email info@FORrescue.net to speak with his foster mom. If you'd like to get a head start, you can complete a dog application at www.FORrescue.net. It isn't binding - it's simply our starting point. Thank you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huck, a Chattanooga Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
