Mari is a shorthaired, tortoiseshell female born during the summer of 2014, and has been with us and searching for a forever home since October 2014. She is in desperate need of inside home- during routine testing at the time or her spay, she tested positive for feline leukemia. She needs a home as either an only cat or with other leukemia positive cats. Leukemia is contagious and spread by secretions. It is impossible to predict when a cat will become symptomatic, some go their entire lives without symptoms. She is currently asymptomatic- over the last couple of years she has had a couple of infections, the duration of which were longer than normally seen in healthy adults, but she has made a full recovery each time and is currently healthy. This sweet girl has been waiting a very long time for a forever home and has received no adoption inquiries.
