John Doe's Story...
John Doe is a super sweet and mellow chihuahua, 4 yrs old and weighs about 6 lbs. His owner left him tied to a fence in front of one of our Foster's homes with a note that said he had cancer, was dying and could no longer take care of his dogs.

He didn't have the heart to take them to the shelter where they might be put down. His buddy is a female terrier mix named Jane Doe. They are best friends but can be adopted separately.

He would be great in an apartment setting because he's very mellow and not a barker. He loves to snuggle and chill in your lap.

If you are interested in John Doe, please complete the on-line application as he does not always attend the weekly adoption event at PETCO on Saturdays. You can also contact us for more information at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

John Doe, a Studio City Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
