My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jackson Browne is an adorable 14 week old pup, as of June 27, 2015. He weighs 5.7 lbs, and is going to be a small breed dog. He looks like a wire haired terrier mixed with chihuahua. His siblings are all chihuahua mixes. He is a very happy little dog, a typical puppy, loves to run, play and hang out with his buddies. He loves to race around the yard and explore. He would do better with a another dog to keep him company. He has a really sweet disposition and will need some house and harness training.
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
