Murphy's Story...
The first step to the adoption process is the application .Please fill one out completely and submit it. We need to have an applicant approved before we give out additional information on the dog and the number of the foster home.

Murphy is a big one year old clumsy adolescent boy! He loves his people and isn’t familiar with personal space, especially with the men in the house.

We are still getting to know Murphy but so far he is good with people and animals. He just needs to learn some manners and understand he isn’t a Chihuahua. He will need a family that will be patient with him and help him learn his manners.

Murphy seldom barks, but does like to communicate his wants through “Dane talk”. This can be cute and annoying at the same time!

Murphy will be ready soon. He needs to heal from his man surgery.

Please see http://www.greatdanerescueinc.com/ for more adoptable Danes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Murphy, a Plymouth Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Plymouth, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Plymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
