Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pudding and her sister Frances were found abandoned on the streets. They look like an australian shepherd/cattle dog/heeler mix. They can be adopted separately. Pudding has the most beautiful blue merle coloring and the prettiest face. Each one loves to come put their front paws in your lap so they can get a hug and lots of ear rubs.
Puddin and Frances love to play. They like to be outside, so would enjoy going to dog parks, or walks...probably would love trails and hiking. They seem happiest when they get a lot of outdoor activity.
They definitely have heeler in them...they love to herd you .I do think the dogs would love kids and their energy....but probably kids age 10 or older. We are working on their manners, in that they like to jump on you....they are getting better
They use the doggie door and we haven't had an accident in the house in quite a while. They love the other dogs and seem to get along with any dog we have brought in the house. They especially love little dogs who they play with very gently .
Puddin is currently 35lbs at 9/15. We think these two will be in the 50-60 lb range...not what I would consider a small dog, but I think it's a great size for kids. Both dogs are approximately 6 months old at September 1, 2015. Puddin is going to be smaller than Frances. They do not need to be adopted together!!
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
