Misty's Story...
Sunny, Misty, and Rainy: three former bottle babies who are sure to brighten your day! They were left at the city kill shelter with no mother and nowhere to go but a foster home where they were nurtured and spoiled to kitten perfection. Now it's your turn to take over!

All cats and kittens are rescues either from the street, abandoned or pulled off the euthanasia list at the city shelter. All are vaccinated, FIV/FELV tested, de-wormed, spayed/neutered (if old enough) and are delivered to your home. If the kitten is not old enough to be spayed/neutered we will do so at a later date, post-adoption. All adoptions require an application and donation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Misty, a Brooklyn Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
