Orchid's Story...
My name is Orchid. When a nice person saw me in her yard, I asked her to follow me. I led her to my kittens. I am barely older than a kitten myself, and I remember that I used to live in a house, so I certainly didn’t want to raise kittens outdoors by myself. The nice person took my kittens and me into her house, and we eventually were fostered by an Angel of Hope family.

I am a gentle kitty who loves when you hold me and stroke me shiny, silky fur. Now that I no longer have to be a mom, I am learning to play again. I have had two vaccinations plus my rabies shot, and I am spayed so I no longer will have kittens. Although I get along well with dogs and male cats, I might do best in a home without another female kitty.

I am at Coon Rapids Petsmart store, waiting for you to come and adopt me. I want a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Orchid, a Anoka Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Anoka, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Anoka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anoka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anoka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anoka paves the way for another one to be saved.
