My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WHEELER is a lap dog and an angel! As of 6/29/15 he is 2 years old and 60 to 65 lbs. WHEELER loves everyone and is happy to be wherever the people are. He gets along with dogs both young and old. He doesn't feel like he needs to be the alpha or the boss in a multiple dog home. He doesn't currently live with any cats, but we introduced him to multiple cats. He sniffed them, but walked away if a cat hissed. WHEELER is a terrific car passenger! He also has good manners in the house. He knows not to potty in his crate while his foster parent is at work. WHEELER is a special, gentle dog. His forever family will be very lucky to have him!

WHEELER is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.
His $450 adoption fee includes an interstate health certificate and transport to the Midwest.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
