Hi!  My name is Rance.  I’m a 2 year old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix and I weigh about 15 lbs. I am a great boy!  I’m very sweet and absolutely LOVE to hang out with my people.  I also really like being outside and I’m good on a leash and like to go for walks.  It would be really nice to have another small dog that I can play with, but I’d be fine by myself just hanging out with you too.  I think I’d be okay in a home with cats, though they kind of scare me.  I basically steer clear of the one at my foster-home.  I’d really love to be your new best friend and snuggle on the couch with you.  Will you be my forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rance-ADOPTED, a Northville Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Northville, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Northville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northville paves the way for another one to be saved.
