My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carolina is the smallest of the six puppy siblings that we rescued from a high kill shelter. She is just the cutest little dog, full of personality and nothing fazes her. She and her buddy Leonardo just love to run and play in the yard. She is a chihuahua mix maybe with yorkie and is approx 14 weeks as of June 27, 2015 and weighs 3.2 lbs. She is going to be a very small pup and will need a home with children older than 10 years old who will be gentle with her. She will need house and harness training and a buddy to play with
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
