Maya, grew up in Big Bear, Ca and moved to Las Vegas in 2013. Maya likes activity and engages her companion Sheba to play. She can be aloof and independent but still enjoys interacting with humans, loves belly rubs and ear scratches. Maya, is a typical Husky that gets extreme satisfaction from walks and exercise. Maya, has had her back "knees" rebuilt in the last two years and has completely recovered. Like her companion Sheba, she speaks the language of Husky, and that is very entertaining. She and her companion Sheba, have been together from a young age and they should not be separated if at all possible.

Her owner, John Magness, is sadly dealing with extreme illness and is unable to care for her.

Thank you for any help with placing Maya in a caring home along with her companion Sheba.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maya, a Las Vegas Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
