My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bentley. I'm 16 weeks old and for a rescue puppy, I'm very lucky. I've been with my parents, Fred and Ethel, and my brothers and sisters since I was born. My mom and dad were rescued from a breeding pen when my mom was pregnant with us. We're all pure-bred Basset Hound puppies.
I'm full of love and kisses. I've been around kids, adults, puppies, cats, and big dogs all my life and I'm very social. I love everyone and I love to play and get cuddled. Like my brothers and sisters, I'm a great family dog. Since my mom was rescued while she was pregnant, she was very well fed and cared for and because of that, all of us puppies are very healthy. I'm going to be about medium-sized (probably 45 to 50 pounds) when I'm full grown and I'm going to be a very handsome dog. My temperament is easy-going, loving, and social. I'd be happiest in a family with kids or another dog or puppy so I have someone to play with.
