Facts about Koffee

  • Breed: Chow Chow
  • Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut - With White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Koffee was rescued from Cobb County Animal Shelter in GA. She had a severe bladder infection with chronic huge bladder stones. She had an ear infection so bad the skin in her ears was rotting and sloughing off. During her bladder stone removal it was discovered that she had a patent ucharus ( part of her umbilical cord ) inside her bladder which is what caused her chronic lifelong bladder stones and pain. This was surgically removed and she should now be stone free! Koffee is great with dogs and people as well as older kids. She is protective of her food bowl but is getting better with her foster family. She loves men and enjoys laying down with you watching tv or working in an office. She is a quiet girl around 6-8 years old with the occasional barking to doors opening. please email

About Pet Adoption League of NY, Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

We specialize in the rescue and adoption of chow chows and chow mixes. However, we also rescue dogs of all breeds. We are a certified rescue group by the Chow Chow National Breed Club. We are a Network Charity of Best Friends Animal Society. We are a member of the Mayor's Alliance for Animals of the City of New York and a New Hope Partner Organization. We rescue dogs from across the nation working with a network of rescue partners.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our dogs are located at boarding kennels, Animal Hospitals and foster homes throughout the area we serve.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in our adoption process is the completion of a Pre-Adoption Application which we will email to those interested in adopting our dogs. The application requires three references, one of which must be the veterinarian that the potential adopter has used. After the application has been received and approved, our rescue dogs can be visited. Adoption fees are typically $250.00 when the adoption is directly from PALNY. When the dog is adopted thru PALNY, but is from another rescue group or shelter, their adoption fee and process prevails after we approve the adopter.
