My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Dixie; I was rescued from the streets with my sister Pixie when I was eight weeks old. We received excellent foster care, but it is time to find our forever home. We are bonded with each other, and we want to live together. We love to play with each other, with toys, with most things that move. Life on the streets still haunts us, and our trust in humans is not there yet, especially when meeting a new acquaintance. We tend to resort to our survival instincts and sprint to another corner when people attempt to pat us; we need an experienced feline owner who understands the process of regaining trust in others. Once we are settled in with the perfect, special person, we will be forever thankful, and our sweet side will reveal itself.
