Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This very nice girl came to rescue with heartworms and needed treatment to get well. She has had her treatment and recovery time too. She is ready for a forever home!
My name is Mattie. I am a very nice, 2 to 3 year old black Cocker-Basset mix girl with a docked tail. I was found as a stray here in NC. I am a good girl, but no one was looking for me, so I came to rescue to find my new forever home.
I tested as heartworm positive so this rescue had to raise the money to cover my costs. I am now spayed. I have had my heartworm treatment and a few weeks of down time to rest and recover. I am an active girl, strong on a leash and ready for my forever home and someone to love me. I do get stressed at times, so you might need to help me calm down and, I am a very strong girl on a leash, so I will need a securely fenced yard to do my business. I am hoping to find a home with someone who can spend quality time with me, enjoy a house companion and help me to have a good life .......I would love to be your baby girl and a great walking companion as I will definitely need some exercise. Please consider adopting me, I deserve a loving, forever home.......maybe it is with you!
If you are interested in adopting this very nice cocker mix girl, she has her heartworm treatment and recovery time.....so please send an email message to: larrydonnacarp@aol.com for an adoption application. Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all of the vetting and care needs for this dog while in rescue.
