This adorable little guy is Dante, a petite little prince of a chihuahua that is about 8 years old. Dante came to us from our Newark facility when he was found as a stray, wandering the streets all alone. Dante is a unique little guy and has the colors of a German shepherd in a chihuahuas body. He also does not have a typical high-energy personality that some chihuahuas have, and is very easy going and laid back. Dante makes friends very easily and it only takes a minute of him knowing you for him to trust you and hope that you carry him around like a baby. Dante is well behaved and prances like a baby deer on a leash. He is excellent for a bath and grooming, but believes the hair dryer to be his mortal enemy. Dante doesn't seem to mind other well behaved dogs such as himself, and even passes by our cat yards without so much as a second glance. He is eager to meet his forever family, and find a nice, cozy lap to snuggle up in. Any good family would be lucky to welcome little Dante into their hearts and home. File#24866 6/11/15
