Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chucho was rescued from animal control recently after being returned by his adopter and diagnosed with a heart murmur which made him ineligible to go back on the adoption floor. Chucho was diagnosed with mild to moderate HCM (hypertrophic cardiomyopathy) with recommendations for medication and follow up with lab work. Chucho will be looking for a very special home where his heart issues can continued to be addressed and monitored. He will need medication and follow up echos and may live a shortened life. He is such a sweetheart and we want only the best for him for however long he has.
Chucho does not act like he is sick. This boy is affectionate and will seek you out for attention. He loves to cuddle but yet also likes to play. He is a great cat who is totally worth the extra care he needs!
Chucho is also looking for a long term foster home. He would be best as the only cat or with a female cat and would need a foster who could administer medication. We cover all medical costs for fosters.
