Diesel-Courtesy Post's Story...
Meet Diesel! This handsome 4 year old shepherd/collie mix is looking for his forever home. His owner recently passed away and he is all alone in the world. Luckily, he has an awesome foster momma who is introducing him to all kinds of new experiences. He has spent most of his life just hanging out with his owner and has limited experience with new people and situations, so he needs some time to feel comfortable. Around 50 lbs., Diesel is an active guy who enjoys the company of other dogs and is even ok with cats (as long as they don’t mind being chased a little bit!). He would love to find a family that will include him in their adventures and help him to feel safe and loved once more. He will make a great companion! If you would like to give Diesel his forever home, please contact Lynn at 216-780-7043 for more information!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diesel-Courtesy Post, a North Olmsted Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Collie for sale in North Olmsted, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Collie dog from a breeder in North Olmsted.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Olmsted already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Olmsted breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Collie breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Olmsted paves the way for another one to be saved.
