July Small Animal Of The Month!

Coconut has been with us for over a year and a half being our longest resident. She is approximately 2-3 years old - she has spent majority of her life in shelters. She is a spayed female. Coconut is rather shy and tends to hide when people come to view all the small animals. She does well with other rabbits, and children once she comes out of her shell.

Please share Coconut's picture and bio to get her known!

About Alliston & District Humane Society

About Our Shelter...

The ADHS attempts to provide shelter for stray and unwanted animals with priority given to abused and neglected animals. The ADHS provides a lost and found reporting service, humane education, and a full range of shelter and foster care and adoption services for cats, dogs, and small animals. Dedicated volunteers make all of these services possible. ADHS has NO PAID employees. The ADHS strives for a 100% adoption rate, with a NO KILL policy for all animals deemed adoptable. Those animals deemed 'unadoptable' by a veterinarian due to illness, severe injuries or of unsuitable or dangerous temperament are humanely euthanized.

Come Meet Our Pets...

The Alliston & District Humane Society is pleased to announce that the shelter is now open to the public twice every month! Come on out and visit our shelter, meet the animals and the volunteers who make all this possible.
