My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

After her owner died, Matilda found herself at Anchorage Animal Care and Control absolutely terrified. We were asked to rescue her to give her time to re-build her trust in people. Matilda needs a quiet home and a quiet room set up just as you would for any cat. Helping her face a new life would require spending time with her in her sanctuary every day, just sitting on the floor next to her hiding place while you read, rest, text etc. It will take time but helping her learn to trust would be priceless!
