My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Carl was living the doggie American dream. He had a family that he adored and honestly he thought they loved him too….until…..their home was foreclosed on and they moved, leaving Carl abandoned at their house. Who would do such a thing to a handsome 2 year old Blue Heeler who is 45 pounds and loving as can be? Worst of all, he was left in the home and no one knew he was there! When someone from the bank arrived to inspect the home, they found Carl all alone, loyally waiting for his family to return for him. This pooch is the sweetest boy ever and smart as a whip. He knows several commands including sit and shake. His foster home has other dogs, cats and even a potbelly pig. Carl is a friend to all of them. He loves children! LOVES them! He is a gentle boy and very easygoing, whatever the circumstance. His foster mom is a dog groomer and he comes to work with her during the day. Carl gets along with all of the dogs he meets there. He loves to meet the customers and the new dogs that arrive for baths. He does well on a leash and enjoys taking walks. He would be best suited in a home with other dogs and especially one with children! Did we mention that he loves children?! Carl is an absolute love bug and is looking for a forever family that is just as loyal as he is. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
