My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

There I was, a stray in Louisiana...and I ended up at a noisy and crowded shelter. I tend to be a bit shy, and it was a scary place! At one time in my life, I was frightened, and sometimes am reluctant to approach people. I am learning to trust, and now am brave enough to rest by chin on my foster mommy's foot! Anyway, I was so glad to be out of the shelter, as a nice rescue lady came to get me. She cared for me and vetted me, then made sure I was put on transport to RI. I am around one year old and weigh about 24 pounds. My body is long, like a Dachshund's, and I have a sweet expression. I would love a family which is around in the day, to attend to my love of companionship. Please do not inquire if you will have to leave me alone long hours. Another, non-aggressive dog would be fine, as would an older, respectful child. My fee of 395. covers all vetting to date, altering, a Heartworm neg.
test, transport to RI, a Health Certificate and I have my own blanket and leash as well.
