Vera's Story...
Hi, my name is Vera. I'm 5 years old & I weigh 5 pounds. I was in a hoarding situation and used for breeding, but then I was rescued & now I'm ready to live a great life. I'm very mellow & sweet and they tell me that I have a pretty endearing little underbite. I love to be held and cuddled. I get along with both big and small dogs and I don't mind cats either. I can't wait to settle in with a loving, forever family of my very own. I promise to be a good girl and love you unconditionally. Please fill out an application to set up a date to meet me ~ http://www.rescueachihuahua.com/adoption-application/. Love Vera xo

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vera, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
