My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BECOMING A FOSTER PARENT

We are in urgent need of a foster home, daily we receive calls regarding cats in desperate situations, some were thrown on streets after tenant moves out the apartment, some were just dumped outside for no fault, some needs to be rehomed, some are running out of time in high kill shelters. In order to safe these poor cats we need a place for them to stay temporarily for 1-3 months while we can find them a forever home.

Can you open your home for one cat at a time, you do not need much room, even a spare bedroom would be great, you will care for a cat for few months, till forever home is found. Its a very rewarding experience knowing that you were able to save a life!

You can help SAVE a life! Fostering a homeless animal is one of the most rewarding aspects of animal rescue work. Foster parents are the backbone of any good, successful organization. Each and every one of us in the rescue world got our start by opening our hearts and homes to an orphaned animal in need until a permanent, loving home could be found. Fosters provide the stabilization, security and tender-loving-care needed so that a rescued animal receives the second chance it so deserves.

If you have any questions, contact us by email at catchancerescue@gmail.com or 610-324-4726

Can a cat in need crash on your couch for few months? Thinking about adopting but not sure yet, how about starting with fostering a kitty in need for few months? All our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, deflead and tested for FIV/Felv prior to getting inrolled into foster home.

We get daily calls and requests to help rescue cats from an overcrowded high kill shelters or other desperate situations, in order to help these kitties, we need a place for them to stay for few months till forever home can be found, but without foster home we can not save or help cats in need.

Currently we need foster homes for young cats (1-2 years old), you will be fostering only 1 cat for 3 months.

OUR ADOPTION FEES:
$95.00 per kitten/young cat (under 1 year old) x $160.00 for a pair of kittens

Thanks for your interest in adopting your future friend! All of our cats and kittens are housed in individual foster homes (not a shelter). Please contact us if you have any questions regarding our cats or kittens and to fill out an Adoption Application, which our adoption coordinator will email to you.

If you have any questions, please email us: catchancerescue@gmail.com

The adoption process:

1) You fill out an Adoption Application.

2) Our Adoption Coordinator contacts you via email to let you know the application has been received and calls you with questions about your application, checks references, and discusses which cats/kittens might be a good match.

3) If the application is approved, the Adoption Coordinator will put you in touch with the appropriate foster home(s) so you can schedule a time to meet the cats/kittens that interest you most.
Once you meet the cats/kittens you’d like to adopt, you let the foster parent and Adoption Coordinator know your choice.

4) We bring the foster cat/kitten(s) to your home and do a walk through your home to make sure your home is safe for a pet.

5) Adoption contract is signed, adoption fee is paid, and we give you information to help your new family member settle in. We can provide the information about the cat/kitten(s) diet, preventative veterinary care, training...

And if you have any question a week, a month, or a year after adoption, we are here to help! If for some reason the adoption doesn’t work out, we always take the cat/kitten back.

More about this rescue

Cat Chance Rescue is a non-profit, small, all volunteer rescue group dedicated to helping cats and kittens find their forever homes.
We believe “Every Cat Deserves a Chance”.
All our cats and kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up to date on Distemper and Rabies shots, tested for FIV/FeLV, microchiped, dewormed and deflead prior to adoption.
We are no-kill rescue and all our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes until placed into forever homes.

Cat Chance Rescue is a group dedicated and committed to promoting pet spay and neuter. We provide information to educate individuals and communities of the importance of responsible pet ownership. We concentrate on spaying and neutering feral cat colonies under TNR (trap-neuter-return) program. This practice reduces unwanted litters.
